Specializing in all breed dog grooming from thorough baths to exquisite cuts. The grooming staff brings over 15 years of experience in the industry and a real love for animals. The owners bring over 18 years of experience in the pet business. Family pet vows to employee only devoted quality staff members and carry only quality healthy products and foods. A Common Sense Approach To Nutrition
I have been heavily involved in the pet food industry and have been feeding fresh food to my own animals and hundreds of clients’ animals for 20 years now. I have an extensive level of experience in feeding a fresh food diet to pets, regardless of age or breed. Animals are not designed to thrive from food out of a bag. This idea provoked me to extensively research the convenient, but very artificial way that much of the population feed their pets. Pets have lived for tens of thousands of years on left over, real food, whereas commercial pet food has only been around for the past 70 years or so, relatively new. Soon after the commercial pet food hit the shelves, the very same human like ailments that plague our commercially fed US population, began to plague our pets. A diet filled with a variety of fresh, rich, whole foods promotes health in humans as well as animals. It is this common sense approach to feeding animals that has led to my success in improving the quality of life in animals plagued with disease. It is very rewarding to educate owners about the numerous health benefits resulting from a fresh food diet. Nutrition and Supplements
Feeding our pets an appropriate diet of Real Food is the first step to ensure optimum health and vitality. Since no "one" diet is absolutely perfect, we recommend adding a a high quality vitamin/mineral supplement and a salmon fish oil as a source of omega-3 essential fatty acids. However, if your pet has a serious health condition, they may require their diet to be adjusted by a vet who is educated in appropriate raw diets.
